I've heard it is very difficult for a single Russian woman with no children on a tourist visa to the United States to receive. is that true?

Yes. You have to show ties to your home country. It’s harder for a single person with no family to do that.
This is to prevent exactly what you are trying to do – seek residency by scoring an American husband while you are here.

Yes, because unfortunately Russia is one of the biggest countries committing marriage fraud in the US, which penalizes honest people who do just want to come as a tourist for a few weeks, then return home.

yeah that’s true.Its bit harder for do that.But if she applying as a family or a group,then there would be a chance.But if she is alone, there its really hard.

Yes. It is hard, but not impossible. You must be able to show very strong ties to Russia (convince them you will actually leave).
But I’ve had several friends that have been approved. So it is possible.
